hi all i found me certifcate of acceptance and it says gem mot/05/01/01 2en revision may 2003 this does meet with what is needed after 31 december ..but why does one page say no and the other say yes...we will find out soon...so do you think all is ok to carry on...

The new dsms were available from 03 so you will be ok. Find your certificate of acceptance and let us know what the wording is.

well today got the red box day so read it and printed it out now it say all smoke meters on list are not to used after 31 december 08..my dsm is on that list my dsm is a oliver 6500..but it also on the list of dsm to be used that are ok after 31 december..so phoned ve he said if on list need new one..phoned autocall they said it a 2006 model and is ok to be used...but not sure what to do now as it is on both lists for not to use and to use....
