As did the morons, feeble bad weather road abusers who gave the bus a miss this morning as the weather plunged to minus4 and decided to relearn the art of driving about whilst asleep and are now all headed back to wherever they all crawled from earlier.
Add to this that they're digging up all the bits of road in Leeds which aren't covered in pot holes, throw in the fact that the scum have a FA cup replay against Tottingham (unless it's been cancelled for H&S reasons) and Leeds council still have a slight lack of grit and the 20-30 minute journey home turned into a hour long one.
Dreading the drive back in tomorrow morning. Perhaps I'll set off now.
and then the results of the match?
sorry bro,
professional PT!...............
we aint had snow for three weeks now and they, the commuters are still not back up to normal commuter speeds!
hell, makes for more fun on the journey!

had to laff monday,we work next to a junction, our gaff is on a sliproad leading off it.7 smacks in the first couple of hours all tossers that flew down the sliproad and started panicking as the motors concerned did their best to emulate torville&dean.funniest was a bellend punter that none of us can stand.pulled up outside,i warned him dont park there dummy,he got snotty and sat in the car chatting on his mobile to whoever.he got the right hump when he spotted me laughing hysterically after the astra twatted him up the a**e 30 secs later god i love toys wot dont need batteries,a good wind up sets me up for the day!

Bloody Hell Kev....Now I know why people complain about having a Bus Stop right outside their house..... .....On a serious note,it appears that things could have been much worse!!..Just lucky no-one got killed!! .
what annoys me is when reading the comments below & muppets are blaming the driver & saying he was going too fast , a lot of the roads round here were untreated this morning & were covered in a layer of black ice , where the accident happened is not long after a junction where the driver will have turned left from a treated to an untreated road , enough said really .

no gritters here in south wales,
ive had to go to the 7 bridge to drop my mrs to work every day and its nice to drive there,
our by-passes have turned to car parks and the small roads are treterous with people getting stuck everywhere.
my lowered car with big wheels will not go anywhere, fortunately @ 6am i managed to roll out my mrs car onto the main road down the steep hill with no on-coming traffic and it will go anywhere, (i want biscuit rims now)

here we go again, another 2 inches of fresh snow on the ground and getting deeper here in bucks. enough already!!!!!!!
update: 4 inches now
we have had no more snow , black ice instead , would rather have had the snow , at least you can see it
I live on a very steep hill & when i went out to work this morning the ground looked wet & there was some ice on the car but nothing unusual .
pulled out of my parking space & the ABS went into overdrive , thought i wasn't going to stop & I was heading for the stone wall at the bottom
luckily someone must have been gritting down the bottom of the street as I caught grip before the wall

snows almost gone round here, only taken about 36 hours. Sadly all the tossers who clogged up the roads whilst driving at inappropriately slow speeds are still doing so even though they are clear.
Leeds currently seems to be the gas leak capital of the universe at the moment though.

Both my door mirror glasses fell off last Friday!
The glass came away from the adhesive backing. I guess it was down to moisture behind the glass freezing & expanding.
Never seen it before.
Had loads of 'new' customers come in to us after the Christmas break with the 'my wipers have stopped working' line...
