One dangerous ball joint that I asked the dealer to mention to the tester - it turns-out that the joint has so much play it could of popped-out of its socket anytime.

The other fault it the handbrake was useless and not working at all; someone had siezed it full on and driven the vehicle to ease it slightly so as the vehicle would drive - I was told that it was a slightly stretch cable that would need changing.

The point is this dealer is buying and selling cars daily and doing business with the local testing garage for quick cheap MOTS.

This vehicle is a 4lt OHC v 6 4x4 and should by all reason be in a good road worthy condition.

I have a good competent sincere local mechanic who does all my servicing and repairs - he will not allow a vehicle through his hands in an en-roadworthy condition - he's a genuine guy.

in that case you would need to speak to vosa about the test , they may well not get involved if it has been more than a few days , the vehicle has done a fair few miles since the original test was carried out or the vehicle has since been repaired .
contact them & have a word , see what they say .

A dodgy car dealer took my car in for a so-called straight testing and only now upon the car having a full service do I realise the car should of failed its testing for two major faults. I want to know how I can report the MOT garage for its dishonest testings for this car dealer, and how do I report the dealer for his continuing dodgy and underhanded activities?

what are these faults & who is saying they are dangerous ??
need more information to be able to advise best course of action .
