The guy at siemens/atos informed me that i'd been removed at the end of last week, but have spoken to local area office, and been advised to call back monday to speak with the 'mot clerk'? who will be able to authorise a replacement, fingers crossed

was he super effiicient and removed you at the end of the day/week??
ps;- "Oh" running out of everything! to post, even feeling a little congested! time to reach out for my inhaler of "fart smeller" potion to guide me back into the real world!

| yeah but i'm not actively listed at any vts currently, so I guess the area guy/vosa will have to assign me a role at the site, so I can then use the spare card to order a replacement?

"If" and obviously thats a big "IF",
The AE at the vts has not removed you from his list of testers, then maybye, he could possibly issue you with the "spare" smart card to enable you to order a new one?
ps; it`s the AE that assigns the role, not Vosa.

| yeah thats my next port of call, but surely will still need vosa to assign me a role, as I don't physically have the card to put into vts, definetly won't be leaving mine in my wallet in future, too much hassle!!

Hi Rocky, I answerd all my security questions, and even went a step further and listed the last 3 testing stations and dates , but apparently I'm not logged on so they can't help, as I don't have a role assigned......gonna try to call local office again in the morning, if they ever answer!

They can verify who you are ,in my experience the "help desk" will not even speak to you untill you verify who you are thats what the questions are allabout> Have you not explained the situation? The only other thing would be to go to a local station and ask them if they can help.

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to see if any can help, I had my wallet stolen with my smart card and bank cards inside. I have phoned siemens and vosa, but have been told I cannot get a new smart card till I am logged on at a station, as they cannot verify who I am. My issue is that I have been working freelance/agency so am not logged on at a site, any suggestions greatfully received????
