Update, they took the car to another station, tester there gave me a call, he failed it for the same welding repair, they kicked off with him as well, cost them £45.00 for that, wonder if they realize yet it would be cheaper to get it fixed. Not heard anything from VOSA don't think I will.

Why is it that the tester always gets the blame for someone who cannot repair a car, today I had a ford Ka back in for a retest, failed for corossion which is normal for a Ka, anyway one sill had been replace, with an oversill, orginal sill still in place, it was spot welded every 3 or 4 ins, not even through to the floor edge just flapping around. So spoke to the customer, who said the repair said it would pass, told them to take back and get it done properly, bearing in mind I have'nt registered the test and would'nt be charging them for the retest untill it was done properly. No they said we want to appeal your decision, so they paid the retest fee, got the VT30 and VT17, should be a laugh on the appeal, took photos and xideo of the repair. Why don't people belive us anymore?
