I think i may be stuck in a Catch 22 ... I am a marine engineer MFV ice class 6 years in the artic circle .6 years experience on cars and motorcycles plus 3 years on heavy construction plant . I wish to become a MOT tester for cars but i dont work in a garage that does MOTs . But all the garages who are MOT stations want you to already have your MOT tester card .... How can i overcome this issue ? are there what you may call "training garages " somewhere i can pay them to let me practise the tests and will sponsor me for the Vosa guys ?? Any info much appreciated .
