Sandwich & sweet wrappers on the floor, some CD's - a shopping bag in the boot perhaps - a magazine or two scattered around - not exactly hard to do

| I know this may sound like closing the door after horse has bolted but I have a customer who is a well respected garage, but I always check his repairs, the minute they they think you trust them they will eventually try it on.

Hi, I think there are lessons to be lernt all round.
- A lot of small traders are under the eye of trading standards, with an instinct for self presevation, when it hits the fan guess wher they point it !
- NEVER trust ANY repairs and sign off unseen, no matter how simple some people still mange to mess up
- Always advise on anything that looks the slightest bit dogy, especialy for traders who are selling on to punters motors that are "just good enough"
As Stealth said take it on the chin, as it sounds like a fair cop, keep your nose cleen &move on.
