The only "test" is that you can find the answers in the manual, you have to list the page no in the book.

Hi ...This is great advice...
I passed my NTT test 2 weeks ago...
Going for my 3 day course...Its in Lincoln luckily Big E...Which better for me...Less travel and traffic than Brum!! phew
Is there anything should read up on before the course?
Do they do mock tests at the course? and I hear theres another test on the 2nd day...not sure what this is about..
Any pointers beforehand, will be great!!
Thanks guys...

Congratts Sean, only the home straight and one more hurdle to jump..but all the big fences are behind you.Do as many practice tests as you can and if you can "choose" you demo car make it a small easy one try to keep away from a big mutlilink steering or suspension model, you will be asked questions on what you have tested after you have tested it.Keep up the good work, good luck and keep us posted....

the worst is pretty much over then , plenty of practice before the demo test & you should be fine .
once you pass that the learning begins

| Cheers for that. If any one else out there is reading this and is worried about the exam dont be i had a quite a few of the practice test questions on mine just worded differently. All you have to do is read them very slowly and make sure you understand them fully had a couple that court me out to start with.

Congratulations Shaun, keep up the good work..ask all the questions you can think of on your three day course, you have nothing to lose at this point..i remember doing another "exam" after my course but you had the relevant "manuals" to refer to then.I presume you have to show "competance" on the "vts device" these days though aswell..then all you have to do is "demonstrate" your routine to a VOSA rep and" answer" questions he asks to show youre ready.....dont forget to apply for your "smart card " though where ever that comes into it....

Yeah I remember now,
when I did mine it was next day, and paperwork took a week,
presentation test could take up to six weeks depending on how busy VOSA are in your area, I think mine was two and a half weeks. All OK.
