Hi mate do you mean that 60 question test?
To be honest mate...best ask me on here...coz i think i was just lucky to pass it. If i got 1 question wrong i would have failed...got a over all of 76%...
I did study the Hillier book Fundamentals of Motor Vehicle Technology
And on VOSA site they have a sample test paper...Try it out...the wordings sometimes is tricky...but over all that test was common sense...but some questions are like WTF...

did the 3 day course last week...passed it... 
was actually quite informative..some stuff seems so "maybe" in testing
ie pass and advice lol....
i got VE coming in 2 weeks...to check me do a mot
that course has changed slightly...used to be aparently 20 questions before
now theres 40, 2 sections with 20 each...multi choice
ones on practical questions, ones on mot computer questions
both were fairly ok and straight forward
took loads of notes etc....
Hopefully soon i can fail and pass some cars hehe...

ahh makes sense now...will just have to wait till they give me a date...
I gonna do a few trail mots tommorow after work with my boss...even though i used to watch him do it a few times...never really paid attention as was busy with my own stuff..
he wants me to do MOTs while he is away...on holidays...jammy bas*ar#

| Mine was Central Brum (Garrets Green)..Look out for the Airplanes..lol..But Kiddy is about the same distance also for me..?..I'm sure you will have an Office closer,based on YOUR location and the possibility that MORE candidates will come from your area..I think the wales lads we're unlucky,( there are'nt so many Test stations per square mile in Wales as there are in My Area)...So less candidates.. | Ur quick..lol,dont know that area..When I had mine I was lucky,Ionly travelled about 15 miles.. (Birmingham)..But some of the lads had come from Wales..I suppose it depends on how many delegates are ready and where they come fron to select a "central" location for everyone...However,whrerever you have to travel to,just do it,and if you have to find somewhere to kip-overnight then do it..In the long-run i'm sure you will be happy that you did...Best of luck(keep us up to date)......E.
