Dear All,

I am setting up a new workshop in Surrey. I really need some advise from everyone in the forum.

I need to buy 1 x 4 ton and 1 x 3.5 ton lift, tyre equipment's & compressor.

I own my freehold workshop for long time and was lease out. The leaseholder vacated the premise recently. I want to give a try myself with a good mechanic.

I can facilitate 2 x 2 poster ramp and can have a small separate tyre bay.

I have taken quotation from Bradbury & Bendpak and they seems very expensive. I have 1 phase electricity at the moment so need a hydralic lift.

Also there are so many makes, which tyre machine and compressor to go for? I have a MOT planning permission and VOSA approval but setting up a MOT station seems very expensive.

Also is tyre a profitable business? Old or New tyre to go for?

Could you all please advise. I would really appreciate. Thank you all advance.

Kind Regards

Sid
