I like the Trade only thought....Would be nice to ask and answer or advise somewhere where "joe" could not pry...NOT 4 ARGUMENTS OR RANTING THO...Just civilised chat,from one Professional to another.......    big..E.:D    lol;)  

As 4 the courtesy car....Use Clio's like we do.....(As long as you replace the bonnet catch)..........;)

I had a Y plate facelift 530D, Which from cold would missfire, Sometimes pretty badly, Took it to a few diesel experts i know and everyone had difrent answers, showed it too my MOT tester and he said he had seen it before on a 330D, Put a can of PROTEC diesel cleaner in the fuel tank and got me to take it for a spirited drive up the motorway, Problem was cured from then on.

PS anyone up for a "Technical Help section" ie None MOT related? for questions like these. but trade only? We may be able to help each other out a bit.

 

can't help with the E46 , but the tech help section sounds like a good idea to me .

Our E46 Coutesy Car had a slight misfire tonight, yesterday it stalled when i was backing it out of the Garage. its a 52 plate. The turbo/engine were changed last year after a disaterous Turbo failure. I saw 8000 RPM!!! Any got any Ideas, I,m thinking fuel filter?
