sorry if i offended you guy,i was just trying to make the point that most of the other tax havens/principalities out there enjoy a better climate.the sad fact remains that most of the scotch that i know/met/work with came to england in the first place because of the difficulty in finding a decent paid job up there.guess my life experiences must be abnormal.....

with comments like that, and other racist slurs,is it a wonder scotland would be any worse off,you must think we all run around wearing a kilt whilst chewing on deep fried mars bars and washing it down with a bottle of buckfast, for your information sir we only do it on a sat night lol,one things for sure though wee fish like us in a large pond will still get screwed over regardless of a yes or no vote, nuff said fellow tester

god i hope they vote for independance, benefits bill versus probable tax/tourism income is probably not gonna leave a whole helluva lotta money for a scotch version of vosa/dvla/dwp/parliament etc.could become a major independant player along the likes of monaco, lichtenstein, capri!holds a certain attraction if not for the difficulty most folks have with exchanging sunburn for midge bites.....

That's a good question - they'd have to start their own MOT, and if they joined the EC they'd have to comply with the Directives, as did Eire.

What will happen to the MOT scheme in Scotland if the vote is carried?
I assume that DVSA would no longer operate in what would be a foreign country. Any thoughts?

(Wasn't sure where to post this, feel free to move it.)
