Hi,

The tester should only have revved the engine to between 2500 and 3000 revs,this will not damage an engine that is in good condition.if this is all the tester did then i would suggest that the engine already had this problem developing.

The tester will test the vehicle as presented, Leave it on Gas and thats how he''ll test it. So the answer to your quetion is NO!

On dual fuel vehicles (lpg + petrol) do emissions tests have to be carried out on both fuels for the mot?  With the engine tuned to run well on lpg I allways fail on petrol emissions!
