Advisories are put there to give you information about your vehicle, but do not always mean you have to have work done (the tester will usually be happy do discuss any advisories with you).As Kev said, have a mechanic look at it for reassurance.

the only answer I can see is to replace the whole lever , although I would seek an opinion from a mechanic first .
