Google Premiermot, believe me they got me ATA accredited after I failed my NTTA 3 times(only just)and I was testing within seven weeks after starting the light vehicle inspection course, they too have a NTTA training module, well worth every penny!

brakes 7/10
steering 9/10
suspension 7/10
wheels and tyres 4/5
electrical 5/5
body 3/5
emissions 5/10

total 44/60
73%

I did mine about a month ago. Not too bad as it is multiple choice. But having said that, you do need to do your homework and understand how various things work. Pass is 75% with a minimum pass of 60% in all modules.

Read and be sure you understand the recommended sections of the books with respect to the MoT test.

You still have plenty of time to study.
Put the time in studying and go through the sample questions via this link.

Anything else just ask,plenty of experiance,knowledge and help at your fingertips from the members on this forum.

A bright lad at our place took failed it 2 times early this year, so I guess yes it is as bad as you hear :(
