I don't know if it's too late to offer you this, but our website has a host of sample ntta questions, totally free of charge and you can attempt these as many times as you like. I hope you do get through the NTTA, but alas if you don't, google us at Premier MOT and we can discuss all your options

Hi all

I have been in the trade since i was 16 years old thats narly 10 years now, I have always wanted to do mot testing so have filled in my form for ntta exam

I was going to go down the ata route but at £2000 its alot at the min, and i have just got married so that has blown the bank lol, So i thought I would go the ntta route and see how i go, if i fail then maybe I will sign on to ata.

Anyhow I am sending off the form in the morning all being well, my step farther runs a garage so have vts to put me forward,

My question is how long does it take to get a exam date so i know how long i have to study down, ?

Also I am going to read cover to back hills fundment, to be fair I do like reading hills :D

What else should I be doing to prepare for this exam, and anyone else who have taken it ? be great to hear from them and any question mock papers would be great.

I have done the mock paper online I found and did rather well, with some study I should (fingers crossed) pass the test
