Our main printer for invoicing etc. is HP printer.

I tried non genuine 'special offer' inks on that, it clogged up the heads. I had to buy new ink heads for it to get it printing again. I complained to the supplier when they rang up and they said it was just that the heads were worn. But the machine was only a few months old. It's now done over a years more work on genuine inks.

So it's a bit like the using aftermarket car parts, there are some reasonable non genuine parts and there are some cheap nasty parts. The problem is how can I tell the difference?

So I'm sticking to genuine from now on.

hi all :D

after reading a message from the vts device the other day as regards to non genuine toners knacking the printers..has anybody had problems or using third party toners with any problems??

a call to a manufacturer today suggests it could be a scare to get folk to stay with original toners....and that there is a likelyhood that a genuine one wouldnt give faults also.

just a query as to anyones views..weve just started on our second cartridge as we ordered a one when we got the printer but are now looking possibly to other makes in the future.
