hold f1 and C keys down while pointing at reciever...the light will blink after a short while and all should be ok.. |

Hi Markt That would be excellent... heaven knows why the guy did not know to do that on ours. Its a shame that so little knowledge about these systems exists....certainly in the public domain anyway. David |

ours dropped the remote after updating to esi 2 for the diagnostics...there is a pairing procedure to be carried out by pressing 2 buttons on the remote but for the life of me cant remember which ones..will make some enquires about it. |

I get that, in as much as it should not affect anything, but in this case...remote no workey after the work... This machine is a real pain, and so little is known about it outside of a service contract... and even if you do have one, it seems that the guys that sell/service them dont really know how they work...they just swap bits... Guys I am back with yet another problem with this damn BEA... The unit was calibrated last week and since then the remote control does not work! If you point the handset at a camera you see the infrared LEDs so its ok. The IR receiver (USB) is connected and you can see it as a HID device in device manager. Does anyone know how to tell the software how to use the remote?!?!? In the installation page with the com ports there are no options for the remote - do I need to set them eslewhere or perhaps in an ini file? Thanks in advance for any advice!
