Hi mate, We did all the ground works ourselves. If you know the make and model of equipment ask the manufacturer or supplier for recess dimensions. We were lucky. I bought the equipment from a Peugeot Main dealer and removed it also. I just measured the recess for lift and RBT they had.

There will not be a frame that will be supplied for a lift recess. Did you do the application yourself? If you used a private company to make the application then you would need to liaise with them since the recess dimensions are product specific in order to meet H&S legislation. If you did the application yourself then the dimensions of the lift must be known therefore it is possible for you to create your own civil / electrical drawing given the equipment specification you have selected.
