I wouldn't get too hung up on the size or spacing of the marks.

Driver's view was significantly relaxed a while back.

The tester has to decide if the damage significantly affects the driver's view of the road. If the damage is in the driver's view of the bonnet or sky it's a pass. If it's in the driver's view then each piece has to be greater than 10 mm in zone A - AND significantly affect the view of the road. An accumulation of smaller marks again has to significantly affect the view of the road.

thanks for the reply, what would constitute as minor damage if these two pit marks wont be a problem, also how close can two pieces of damage be together not to be treated as one piece of damage. thanks

as they are pit marks so cannot be repaired as there is nothing for the resin to grab hold of.

Hi, it's unlikely they will. Combined minor damage is a fail. But two chips shouldn't be a problem at all.

i have two pit marks in zone a to the bottom right of the steering wheel. one is about 2mm and one is 1mm

the thing i want to know is will this count as damage bigger than 10mm as they are about 25mm apart
