Hi. There is provision in the test for competition cars. A fixed seat is perfectly OK in this case.

My 80's pre aibag car is going for it's MOT and has a fixed bucket seat with 6 point harness, will this be an issue? does it have to have fore and aft movement or is this only tested if fitted?

The car is track prepped and I don't have the space for a trailer to take it to events.
