basically as long as we can open it as required its all we need,see this most days with central locking,pop the button/handle/whatever and crack on,central locking aint tested,the door latches are.can we get it to open as required?y/n? pass/fail accordingly

Hi, the rear nearside lock does not unlock using the remote button but does unlock from the inside and then door can be opened from outside and inside, is this an MOT fail?
