ATL packages can be expensive but Â£30000...wow! no mentions of V-tech here? I got a good deal with these guys less than Â£25000 and everything was sorted including the groundwork. More than happy with the equipment.

Anyone else got cheaper? Boston? be good to get a comparison.

can't remember who did the ground work but they came with the package supplied by snap on I thought it best as if they made a cock up at least it wouldn't be my responsibility.

I use the snap on/SUN package, expensive at about Â£30000 but the back up is excellent and the kit robust, but the prep work has to be spot on as a 1 metre thick base is required for the ramp as it shakes so much when using the play detectors, the automatic brake tester takes a bit of getting used to but this equipment is ideal for me as I am on my own (except for the wife in the office)

There will be a review of ATLs in the August issue of MOT Testing, including upgrading existing lanes to One Person Testing.

Hi all,

We are in the process of moving premises and are trying to decide which ATL equipment to go for - anyone out there any preferences or ones to avoid?
