ATL packages can be expensive but £30000...wow! no mentions of V-tech here? I got a good deal with these guys less than £25000 and everything was sorted including the groundwork. More than happy with the equipment. Anyone else got cheaper? Boston? be good to get a comparison. |

can't remember who did the ground work but they came with the package supplied by snap on I thought it best as if they made a cock up at least it wouldn't be my responsibility. |

Who did you get to do your groundwork? Last edited on Fri Jun 27th, 2008 06:58 pm by david8939 |

I use the snap on/SUN package, expensive at about £30000 but the back up is excellent and the kit robust, but the prep work has to be spot on as a 1 metre thick base is required for the ramp as it shakes so much when using the play detectors, the automatic brake tester takes a bit of getting used to but this equipment is ideal for me as I am on my own (except for the wife in the office) |

There will be a review of ATLs in the August issue of MOT Testing, including upgrading existing lanes to One Person Testing. |

Looking to install OPT ramp as can't afford go to full ATL at moment and the down time would cost us a small fortune,(10 tests p/day + 75% of repair work). Anyone using Boston ramp or any recommendations. Our recess is approx 150mm,need something which will go without major digging out. Thanks Andy |

Hi all, We are in the process of moving premises and are trying to decide which ATL equipment to go for - anyone out there any preferences or ones to avoid? Cheers |
